Mohsen Fahmi

Mohsen Fahmi has had a career spanning more than 35 years in asset management in both the traditional as well as the alternative space.

Prior to his recent retirement from Pimco, a USD2 trillion asset manager, Mohsen was the lead manager for all of Pimco’s enhanced equity portfolios (StocksPlus) as well as a member of its Dynamic Bond team and a member of Pimco’s Investment Committee.

Earlier in his career, Fahmi spent 11 years at Moore Capital Management and held positions at Tokai Bank, Salomon Brothers, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and the World Bank Group.

Fahmi holds an MBA from Stanford University. He received a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Ohio State University and an Undergraduate Engineering Degree from Ain Shams University, Cairo.
